Put on by The Post and Courier and Motley Rice LLC, Sunday’s Lowcountry Jazz Brunch was a feast for the eyes, ears and palate. Held at the historic Lowndes Grove Plantation, Charleston Mix bloody marys and mimosas were served to go along with a three-course seated brunch prepared by some of Charleston’s best restaurants and caterers. To accompany the hearty fare, a side of toe-tapping jazz music was performed by The Mark Sturbank Group with some help from Quiana Parlor and Quentin Baxter. After brunch there was a cocktail  theme with the best bartenders which made a wonderful show with smoke, seeds and so many different ingredients we are not used to see. They made 5 rounds of drinks, all with different ingredients and colors to cheer the guests. The professionalism was top with not only the drink result, but the procedure of getting them, the ingredients and the equipment used, with the glasses, the shaker, the ice maker they carried, i remember to think These portable ice makers are perfect for the summer for any type of occasion, it was a marvelous event.
